William Control - Dingwalls Camden Town - 06.02.12

So last night I went to see the amazing William Control play in Camden Town (also from Aiden if anybodies confused!), on his tour to support his new album Novus Ordo Seclorum (New World Order - It's latin). He was only doing two dates, London and then Manchester the following day. I was supposed to go to both, but had to ditch that idea at the last minute due to cash problems :/
To start the day off, I woke up late (I'm talking mid afternoon!), then had to get an epic move on in order to reach London by 7, and to add extra time for some snow treckage! I was supposed to be meeting up with some of my fellow gig friends, to pub it up beforehand, but that didn't happen. On route to London, my mates called to say that somebody had a heart attack on the train before Camden town, so there were delays on the Northen Line.

My sister and I got bored waiting, so took stupid pictures of ourselves during our wait. I went for the 'dark and dangerous pin up/bondagey look. (I don't have a picture of them, but I wore these beauties lace up leggings). I ended up however, looking like I belonged in Human League...
As for my make up, I wore ZOMG! by Rockalily, and the pink liner near my eyes was Stargazer Special Effects Neon colour in neon pink (obviously!). The rest of my eye make up was made up of various products, such as Avon's Kajal Stick in black and silver, Barry M's Dazzle Dust in white, and a Barry M Dazzle Dust in a pinky/red colour (there was also some Natural Collection eyeshadows thrown in somewhere).  I know my checks are WELL pink, but for some reason I like the embarressed look. It's Barry M's Blusher in #4 if anyone want's a similar embaressed look! ;) My brows always look odd in pictures as well for some reason, like they connect onto my eyes(?!) Anyway, I always wear Soap&Glory's Arch De Triumph. I love the highlighter!
My hair also went flat. I had a victory roll at the right side of my head, but it deflated. The top roll bit stuck however, and I ended up with something coiffed on top of my head. Aces! :)

Anyway, the gig was awesome!  The support was little to be disired however, tad flat if you ask me. (The Fearless Vampire Killers, followed by Obsecure Pleasures). Needless to say, WiL perked up the atmosphere. He played the new album, which sounds alot better live than it did on cd, but then from listening to the cd afterwards, maybe I just needed to hear it live first to love it? He also played the new track from the Underworld 4 film, which was truely breath taking. The classics wern't missed off either :)

I partied, and I partied hard. I also kind of lost my voice abit from singing/screaming so loud (I sounded like a man, it was good). The atmosphere was weird though. There were loads of people that just didn't sing or dance? I fail to see why these poeple buy gig tickets, to not even act like their enjoying it?
The squares.

Anyway, as tradition in gig terms, I stayed behind afterwards. I even managed to apprently make fun of William and his attempt of saying 'Bloke'. His American..it doesn't sound right...

We exchanged hello's/ how are you's/good to see you agains etc. I got my annual William Francis picture too. (I get one everytime I see him and Aiden ;]). I think he still loves me, he's smiling. I, on the otherhand, look like a squirrel (I've accepted it).

If you ever get a chance to see William Control, go. It truely is an odd experience. Kind of like an orgy rave, but with goths and scarey looking teenagers.

A small mini introduction. My first official evening of blogging.

So, I make alot of these, and I post various things across the internet, but for some reason I always end up deleting them after a little while. I'm actually going to try and attempt however, to post everything on here, and keep it. I write alot of rubbish mostly, spamming different media and social netwroking platforms with make up, or items i am interested in. I used to own forums on vampirefreaks, and I also used to blog on myspace. Then I guess I grew up, and got a job, and never really got that much into it again, or maybe relationships and life dulled me down!

First and foremost, I'm a slave to retail. I live with my twin sister, and my 3 cats. There's Tinker, Tommy, and Toby (Don't laugh!)

We have a gorgeous little flat together, filled with wacky and wonderful things (surprisingly, everyone else hates the flat, and find our 'homely touches' abit odd! I'd love to be a make up artist, or a writer, but truth be told I'm too lazy to make a portfollo. Hopefully this will help give me the inspiration I need! I love all things vintage, and I love films and books. I also love baking, and making cupcakes. Cookies by the way, are my downfall. Actually, I'll probably end up documenting my kitchen sucesses and failures over time :)
So, I’m going to London on the 30th, with the sister for a launch party. Reckon we could have a peak in this gorgeous shop for fantasy ‘window shopping’? My wardrobe can literally not handle any more clothes, but I’m like a moth to a flame with this shop. If only I wasn’t skint, becuase my Bordello’s really need some more brothers and sisters. If I chain myself to their clothes rails, do you think they’ll let me have some clothes/shoes for free?
If you’ve never been there, you really need to, they do cheap and cheerful vintage 40’s/50’s inspired clothes, which fit beautifully. There’s also always bargains of theirs to find on ebay.
I also really want to buy this, (if I had money!) http://www.collectif.co.uk/polka-tammy-doll-polka-detail-p-sku100-c-red.html, and this! http://www.collectif.co.uk/polka-tammy-doll-polka-detail-p-sku100-c-red.html

Small Talk Tea Rooms

I discovered the cutest little cafe today while walking through town, in the form of the ‘Small talk tea room’. It’s a beautifully decorated vintage tea room, with fabulous looking wallpaper, and filled with old ladies! It must have only been there for a few weeks, because unless I’m utterly blind, I’ve never seen it there before.
This is a hint my friends, for somebody to take me out to lunch there. I want tea and scones people!

My BEAUTIFUL specs (that everyone else hates)

My new best friends.
My new specs bought from the brilliant Hooga boutique.
